A little bit about me

Hello everyone, hope you are all staying safe and healthy during these uncertain times.

I am Daniella and I have been photographing professionally since 2011.

I have always had a passion for photography, so it naturally started out as a hobby for me. I would take photos of landscapes and animals on my phone, which was the only device I owned with a camera. My Dad bought my first DSLR Canon camera which was such an upgrade! I was so happy, every weekend we would go out to visit different places and, of course, my camera would be at my side every time.

I began as a self-taught photographer, but I then went on to complete a BTEC national diploma in photography, which furthered my knowledge and skills.

During the early stages at college I realised I wanted to do this professionally, by starting a business capturing special moments for people. I founded my business and have never looked back! I think it is very important to always follow your dreams.

I have photographed many weddings, events, new-borns, smash the cake, families, etc. I enjoy each and every subject I photograph so much. It is a real thrill being able to create and capture a memory for someone that will last a lifetime.

So, a little bit more about me. I am originally from the North near Liverpool but moved to Midlands with my Husband to enjoy the countryside. Even though I have lived here for nearly five years, I still have times where it is hard being away from family and friends. It is always nice to go back home and seeing them always makes everything better.

When I don’t have my camera in my hand I enjoy being out in the countryside where I can go on lots of walks and get my wellies on. I love to see the natural the colours of each season changing and hearing the peaceful sound of leaves rustling and streams flowing. I Have also got back into reading which I am loving, plus any excuse to just switch off and have a break from the phone!

I have really got into baking lately, as I received lots of baking equipment last Christmas. Recently I have been trying to perfect my banana bread and chocolate brownies, which keep getting better each time!

In my free time I enjoy catching up with family and friends, eating out, shopping and games nights. It is also fun being creative with the house decorations and buying home furniture. During the evenings I like a good series on Netflix with some nice smelling candles on. Before bed I always do some yoga/mindfulness exercises which is great to clear your head ready for a new day!

Happy Tuesday, stay safe, and I hope you have enjoyed reading this little inside look into my life!
